Latest Updates from Our Project:

July update
over 1 year ago – Tue, Jul 11, 2023 at 03:34:58 PM

Management was off on an extended vacation, but we're all back now! Progress, as you might have guessed, is crawling along slower than we've hoped, but it IS moving forward. Edits on Keepsakes are nearly completed. ASPS is nearly finished in layout (our person there had some dayjob stuff to focus on in the middle of things but are back to work on it now).

The plushies are around 2/3rds completed. Our seamstress broke her leg quite badly so was off work for a while but has finally been medically cleared to resume light duties. She expects to be finished in August.

Dice are almost finished, just some inking left to do.

Delays and Progress
over 1 year ago – Sun, May 07, 2023 at 09:57:35 PM

Keepsakes has hit some dev snags; our replacement editor is making a few developmental changes for clarity but should be done soon. Once it is, it will join ASPS in layout. Our layout person had an important work project take precedence but is back at it now, so we should have it completed soon.

I do have some appendice maps I can share from the ASPS sample settings, and once we have someone with the know-how, we'll have some of those available as VTT.

The Keepsakes plushies have been completed; we will send photos once they arrive!

In other news, the Paragon Project has wrapped up its Kickstarter, funding at 211%. We're pretty proud of that, and the Paragon team is hard at work on the rest of the book. Our Fox Magic team is also hard at work on a 2nd edition, launching this week over on Crowdfundr. You can catch our CEO here as he runs a campaign and tests out some of the new things being added and adjusted from 1e - and the last Thursdays of each month, he also hosts a Geek & Greet where we invite other creators and publishers on to sit down with us and talk about their past and current projects, the state of the industry, and other various and sundry gaming topics. You can catch past sessions of both on our YouTube channel.

If you'd like to join the conversation, or hang out and talk gaming, current events, or even just life, feel free to join us on Discord.

Quick Update
over 1 year ago – Tue, Apr 04, 2023 at 08:13:45 PM

Just a quick update as we move into April!

Not much new to report; editing and layout and things are all happening as they should.

Our dice maker just came down with covid, so things have paused there, but they're nearly complete with the order. Just a few more to finish, then all the inking, and they'll be ready to ship to us.

The plushie seamstress has sent us some pics to share with y'all. She's been working on the bunnies recently. Next up will be the bears, and the dragons are all cut out and waiting to go after that.

In Other News...

While our layout and editing teams, plushie seamstress, and dice maker are all hard at work to complete things so we can ship them out, our friend at Black Pine Publishing has been hard at work on a project they're releasing through us - Paragon! - and it just launched earlier today.

If you enjoy 5e, and want to do more with your choice of race, or just want a beautifully illustrated D&D themed tarot deck - come check it out!

It's the final countdown...

We appreciate your patience; I know this project has drawn on a lot longer than anticipated. But we are in the final stretch. The dice are nearly completed. The plushies are in production by our new seamstress as of last week. There's been some staff illness and tech troubles but we're back on track now. ASPS is in layout and *should* be complete before month's end! Keepsakes has a second editor going over the document beginning next week, so should be in layout in early April.

I hope you've all had a chance to look over the ASPS text only file we sent via Backerkit after the last update. The finished book will of course look prettier but the game is all there if you're impatient to dive in! And here's a peek at the character sheet! We'll have a form-fillable version available on our website in the next week or so.

We have a new project coming up here on Kickstarter in a few weeks; feel free to follow along if you're interested in a racial supplement for use with D&D 5e: The Paragon Project

Development on Paragon has utilised a different team, so ASPS and Keepsakes work have not been impacted by Paragon's production. About half the writing is already complete, and art well underway, so fulfilment for Paragon will be much swifter than we've had on this one too. (Apologies again for the extended time this has taken us!)

If you want to see ASPS in action, tune in to our Twitch channel Thursdays at 8pm EST where our CEO plays GM for a campaign of Fox Magic while testing new features and races that will be available in 2nd edition, currently in development. The 1st edition of Fox Magic is available on Indie Press Revolution, Drive-Thru RPG, and our company website.
